At the track I saw a fox body stang with a sticker on it:
Imports are like
Tampons
Every pussy
has one
That sums up my feelings toward imports.HA HA

1991-won a couple of races
1992-none

When we get done piddling with the race cars I have a 88' 2dr 4wd s-10 blazor that I am going to convert to a straight axle front end and put about a 4" lift with some 33" mastercraft M/T tires. No new paint or nothing because it would be a hunting vehicle that would go anywhere I want to street or muddin.

1991 S-10 regular cab(Weekend Warrior)
1992 S-10 extended cab(Daily Driver)
1993 Mustang notch-back(Basturd Child)

1991- has a 383 stroker 580-620HP before heads were ported. Turbo 350 Trany that has been fixed & replaced to many times(We broke the bell housing completely in half).8" race torque convter. Desiel Republic drive shaft & Dana 60 with a Full spool. It has ran a 6.52 at 103mph spinning. It should run arond a 6.30 when we get it to hook.

1993-Mustang-406 sbc 650+ hp, power glide with trans brake and shift selnoid, & 8.8 rear end with 4.86 gears. it has run a 6.34 @ 107mph.

1991-Tried for a hot rod look for now. Hood came off the 1992, no side mirrors, bed has the middle cut out to make room for the 31"x18.5" Hoosier DOT slicks(Just got some 33"x14.5" Goodyear Racing slicks) on 15" weld racing 5 star wheels. I made the bed cover, and moved the fuel cell and battery to the back of the bed. Painted it semi gloss black($50 paint job)3.5% tint. back lexan glass.
1992-My baby. My Pa-Pa gave me this truck when i turned 16. i took the entire suspension off of another blazor we had at that time to lower it 4" in front and 3" in rear. Took 2" cowl hood off race truck along with the side mirrors, bed cover, and spoiler. We painted the Chrome grills insert black and added a chrome bumper. Rear bumper is a secert(if you think you know leave a comment). painted it with single stage enamel(Gloss black). added some graphics and taller tires(matched em' to the wheel wells).I also installed a set of euro tail lights.

1991-gutted. Made the dash. 10 point roll cage. racing seat and 6 point harness.
1992-Factory
1993-Mustang-factory panels & dash, lightwieght carpet, 12 point roll cage, kirkly drag racing seat, I made a plate and put the gauges in the factory location, and put a panel over the old radio hole to mount the switches for the Fuel Pump, Fan, and water pump.

12.2 @ 113mph with the left front caliper not released. I have replaced it and am ready for another trip to the strip.

What up Dude!!!  In responce to your question, it's suppose to be around 487 HP. That's according to the Desktop Dyno Build we did for a low compression (8.2) 406ci small block that runs on 87 octane @ 34 degrees total advance. I went with low compression forged blower pistons so I can run a 671 Blower on it next summer. With that and the AFR 205 heads I'll be getting, it should net me somewhere around 625 HP.

For now though I'm just just breaking the motor in with a Weiand Tunnel Ram and a couple 600 Holleys. (I think it's got about 716 miles on it so far)  I'm also running a built TH350 with a 9" converter. I only went with a 3600 stall since I'll be driving it on the street more than racing it. It's got a Dana 44 Posi with some 3.55's,......and believe it or not, I actually get halfway decent gas mileage with it on the freeway. I drove it 60 miles yesterday on just over an 1/8th of a tank. That same drive in my truck takes a 1/4 tank.

Anyway, it sounds like you have a pretty stout little 383 stroker in your S-10. Have fun with it,.......just try and keep it between the ditches!!!

Later,
Arch
